I feel you brother. Usually when we start cold approach it is just not the approach that we are doing but also negating out bad social habits accumulated for years. You might feel like a rough engine that needs some grease at first but trust me if you just keep going, everything gets better.

Approach on a daily basis and open like you mean it. Get some feedback again and work accordingly.

Look at youtube for some infield footages of RSD Max and how he deals with a sim situation such as yours.

Also if you've got time... get the 10 commandments of game... work on all the exercises and Imbibe them deeply. Once you have a stronger sense of what kind of man are you, what you need in your life and what kind of you girl you would need to fulfilla great life... girls will sense so much security and not want to lose out on a guy like you.

I don’t have much experience but I can drop this for you. I only had 1 good cold approach, I went up to a girl sitting at a table by herself eating lunch and asked if the seat in front of her was taken and went from there. Keep an eye out for opportunities!

A direct opener is hit or miss. It requires a lot of energy or a self amused frame to deliver it congruently and in most cases it requires the girl to be receptive to that kind of opener in that moment in order for it to be effective. So 0/4 is to be expected with the direct opener because the average is about 2/10, with it increasing to about 4/10 if your vibe delivers it well.

Being that you're new to cold approach, I would say to refrain from analysis for a good period of time (at least 6mo-1 yr) before you dive into the minutia. Just spend time taking yourself from seeing a girl to walking up and opening; experiment and learn, do not get hung up with getting any kind of result until you can approach quite easily. Once you can approach well in MOST situations, then focus on conversation skill. Baby step it.

It’s the confidence for one. If you are going to approach you cannot be laughing while saying it that’s wild. Would you take someone seriously who was giggling while trying to pick you up to start an intimate relationship? Try indirect if you’re new and get the woman hooked into the conversation before you start trying anything

You should focus on building a social circle that will facilitate meeting people in a social environment. Dance class, rock climbing, art lesson, etc. Even if you don't meet women directly, you'll be able to network and meet more people. Warm approaches are so much better than cold approaches.
