Think of all of men your life that have been truly impressive. Those that seem to draw others to them, who are reliable and steadfast, who have a calm, but powerful presence that owns a room.

After reflecting on this, it became apparent that these type of men have certain characteristics. While some don’t have all of these characteristics, and are stronger in others, these are what I have identified as the foundation of dynamic masculinity.

What characteristics do you believe make a powerful, dynamic man?

Independence: has his own purpose, isn’t afraid to be polarizing, vulnerability with strength.

Resilience: is accountable, can de-stigmatize negative emotions, mentally tough, can effectively process rejection

Emotional Centeredness: in control of emotions, uses humor thorough difficult times, is unswayed by conflict

Growth: seeks pleasure rather than avoiding pain, doesn’t follow limiting mindsets, isn’t complacent. Recognizes deficiencies

Charisma: makes others feel good about them selves, treats all people the same, socially adaptable, in shape, well groomed, uses relaxed and dominant body language

Skill: can solve problems (not emotional problems), physical fit and healthy, able to compete and bond with other men.
