Skincare > makeup in most cases but if you haver some obvious flaws some cover up might be warranted. Otherwise makeup is a no in north america for men unless you're interested in certain sub cultures and niches

Bro I’ve been doing this skincare routine for my face. It’s super cheap and has worked well for me. My skin has been more clear and glowing to some extent as well. I use a spoon of curd(dahi) and mix it with a tie spoon of gram flour. Mix it and it turns into a paste. Apply that on your face every night and leave it on for 15-30 mins and then wash it off. Trust me, your face will look better, scars, pimples etc will go away and you will have a fresh look. It’s a classic Indian home remedy that we all use.

Yup, I get a random zit pop up every now and then so I just put a dab of concealer on to make it go away, works like a charm. Plus you don't even have to be good at it because there's no expectation for your skin to be flawless. I draw energy from the losers who think looking good is somehow not masculine

Yeah once, my partner at the time wanted to put eye liner on me. I am not joking when I say I had about a half dozen compliments from women exclusively and if I'm honest, it looked pretty fucking great. Men either didn't notice or didn't want to call the big scary looking geezer with eye liner a fairy.

I have not done it since because those half dozen compliments made me uncomfortable since men aren't generally complimented that much so I downgraded back to a basic cleans / moisturise routine and happily continued succeeding at everything while getting less compliments from women.
