Well, long story short…it’s a way of dehumanizing women.

When you dehumanize them to hypergamous animals with no self control or preferences…it’s a lot easier to treat them like shit!

Its dehumanizing. And it can slip under the radar more effectively than other terms that are used in more private places (for example femoid). Its slowly becoming less acceptable though, as more people become aware of it.

There are people who'll use it accidentally (apparently its common in military circles and can crop up with those for whom English is a second language) so its not an automatic indicator, but it can be a red flag when used.

It's dehumanizing, like other commenters have said.

"Woman" refers to gender identity and also the cultural/social influences that shape us as human beings. "Female" strips away all of that. Same with "men" and "males."

I've noticed a lot of pill type dudes want to ignore gender identity, socialization, and cultural influences. They pretend such things don't exist, or don't have much of an impact on anybody. Often when they use the terms "men" and "females" its because they recognize some of what men go through in Western society, but women are reduced to their reproductive organs and that's it.

It also explains one reason why they hate feminism. Because it's the big bad monster that came in and changed the culture for women. This is how you should know that we are dealing with the alt-right here. Women are simultaneously incredibly stupid and mislead, but also evil geniuses who are out to ruin the lives of men. This is their "logic."

It is usually in the context of explaining their theories of evolutionary psychology, claiming that women are controlled by principles that would apply to females of any species. Red Pill theory rests on the idea that humans are all animals driven by instinct with relatively little agency over our sexual behavior, which is ultimately very dehumanizing.

It is worth noting that while they sometimes do the same for men, they usually give men a lot more agency. Even if dehumanization was not their goal, it is clear that they are comfortable with completely dehumanizing women, but not as comfortable dehumanizing men.

Think of a specimen in a jar that will at some point in the future exist, in a lab you will definitely work at at some point in the future. That's a female to these people.

Just had this argument with 2 of my brothers about this. They said, "Are you not a female?". I asked them, "A female what?"... they just kept repeating, "but you're a female, are you not?". Asked them why they don't call men "males" and they said "It doesn't matter what we call men.". Felt like I was arguing with a pair of parrots. They had a shared braincell moment.

Male and female are the appropriate terms for scientific literature. I think the terms are more or less interchangeable and shouldn't cause any missed shifts in conversation.
