Q4W: What does an "ideal" dating market look like for you? Are there any actual "threats" to women in the dating market in your opinion?

I think an ideal dating market is tightly knit to an ideal human society overall. It can't exist in a vacuum, when the rest of our life is a complete mess. Assuming that all other problems are sorted some changed for the dating culture:

People spend less time online and socialize offline more often, hence less of them rely on dating apps to find a partner.
People split the bill or pay in turns. There's no expectation put on men to pay.
Differences are accepted and expected, people are encouraged to be open about their expectations and seek someone compatible.
Everyone has better communication than they do now. People are more honest and open about their intentions and long-term plans.
Cheating just doesn't exist. Or maybe there's a list of cheaters like there's a list of sex offenders. Let's imagine that it works as indented. I get that it's pretty much impossible to implement it and not let people abuse it in real life, but we're talking about an ideal situation here.
No one or at least far less people are traumatized. People who do have problems seek therapy. It's accessible and effective for them, so more of them are able to hold romantic relationships.

These are very idealistic points and most of them can't be reached. I think the most tangible one is the second point. The rest requires more changes in human nature and society.

And it is also impossible, because freedom means there will always be the choice to lie or do violence

I’m not in the dating market anymore but honestly I disagree with the whole idea of 3. I don’t think there’s threats at all really to women’s options. As long as women are more sought after by men, and men are more attracted to a larger variety of women, there’s no real threat to women. That second thing is a fact of nature and will never change, the first thing is very unlikely to change anytime soon in the current atmosphere.

An ideal one in my opinion is one where everyone’s safe, people don’t feel the need to lie or manipulate, and most people get at least some of what they want.

I think ther it would be best of there was only one dating app because what if the one chooses different dating app than you. So on edating app for all so everyone who wants to meet someone is on the same app.

Then stop lying and start being honest. If you only want casual sex directly state it right on your profile. Be honest, don't lie to someone about undying love in order to sleep with them. So total honesty what you are looking for.

And then people shoul only look for real match. Men should swipe right and text everyone just for the sake of not being alone. You should only swipe and text people that you feel special about, not only acceptable, but only profiles that truly catch your eye. And that way women wouldn't be flooded by so many messages and would have time to actually respond.

That depends entirely on what the woman in question is looking for. I'm in a longterm open relationship, and as we are not poly, I date for fun. An ideal dating market for me would be men with no STDs, who get tested regularly, and who are transparent about their wants in regard to our connection. I like established fwb more than ons, but if it didn't click for you then no problem. But please just say so! In my dating experience that has been the one thing that's annoyed me, even though luckily it didn't happen often. But if I say "I really had fun with you and would like to continue meeting up, what do you say?" and I hear "Yes, absolutely, I had fun and would love to see you again" then I actually expect to not get ghosted afterwards. That's something I've never done and would never do. I'm a grown woman and not interested in mind games. If I don't see any potential then I clearly say so. So yeah, ideal dating market for me would simply be transparent, clean men. And obviously safe men, but I think that's a given anyway.

I found the love of my life.

I think it would have been easier to get through that process if lying wasn't heavily encouraged or tacitly considered normal.

Other than that, I would just generally get rid of cold approach because it's annoying and would never lead to anything good in the majority of situations.

So yeah, that's my ideal market: no liars and no strangers.
