They say “if you don’t want a baby, wrap it up”… I get the sentiment but condoms aren’t 100% effective… if a guy uses a condom and a woman lies about being on birth control, she has baby trapped him.
If a guy is raped by a woman who then gets pregnant through it, that’s baby trapping.
There’s a baby trap scene in Bridgerton where a female character forces a male character’s seed into her after he’s told her to stop…. said character got pregnant, baby trapping him.
And there’s a literal baby trapping device that exists now (I wish I was making this up)- https://www.instagram.com/p/C6MH0SrNNFb/?igsh=ejQ5dXlsaHZzbDl1
If a man was stealthed (e.g. the woman ripped his condom off) and that resulted in a pregnancy, that’s baby trapping.
If a woman poked holes in a guy’s condom to get pregnant that’s baby trapping.
[–]russwriter67 10 points11 points12 points (3 children) | Copy Link
That should also be considered rape. The guy wouldn't have consented if he knew the woman could / would get pregnant.
[–]JazzPhobic 6 points7 points8 points (1 child) | Copy Link
Removing the condom mid-sex is considered rape by deception iirc.
[–]russwriter67 4 points5 points6 points (0 children) | Copy Link
That sounds right, I didn’t know there was a term for it.
[–]StupidSexyQuestions 1 point2 points3 points (0 children) | Copy Link
It should absolutely be. Just like stealthing is.

What the hell? https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/2Jx0rzpDiY …. these people genuinely hate men - https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/adENrdNzqC
“Men who say hello to women only do it because they want to fuck them”…. that’s one of the most deluded things I’ve ever heard in my life.
And of course she’s got a now deleted account. Of course she blames everything bad a man does on patriarchy.
“Men are at fault more often and women are innocent more often thanks to patriarchy”- https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/Mp6cay8GVs
Then there’s one woman who says men can’t be baby trapped, and the deleted woman from earlier shuts her down simply as “a bit harsh” saying “that’s the first and last time I’ll stick up for men” and then continues to vilify the male population - https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/P50WO7UkDa

Look at the downvoted comments
https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/UUPD1I4d2D - “it takes two to tango” https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/p22ETFDfIh “My best friend was baby trapped” https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/07ofEpzCJH “Baby trapping is a thing- I know women who’ve done it” https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/gv2NxxvAxF - “it does happen - why are we pretending it doesn’t?” https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/UvMq3omsYM - “a woman I hooked up with pulled a condom we used out of the trash- baby trapping exists” https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/oX3CkVzuGa - “ Baby trapped is real. The woman finds some dumb ass hole to knock her up and pay her bills for 18 years. WTF are you talking about? The child support system was made to incentivize divorce and put minorities in jail.” (I don’t like the way it’s worded- very tradcon, but the reply is comparing him to Andrew Tate) https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/w7Llp89z9D- somebody gets downvoted just for using the word misandry
https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/aDMmD6Sp5M - this guy is being victim blamed and then when he stands up for himself he’s downvoted, annoyingly his first comment isn’t there, but really there’s so many women treating safe sex solely as a man’s responsibility rather than a mutual one… they don’t think lying about contraception is baby trapping. And it’s all well and good them saying “you should’ve worn a condom” but if a man did wear a condom, and the woman lied about being on birth control, they’d still find a way to make him to blame.
https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/bUhuHIs0H7 - “the guy can use a condom; it takes two people to make a baby… that’s not trapping someone”… if you want to get pregnant, lie about being on birth control when you’re not, and the guy is using a condom, you have baby trapped him… you’ve lied to him, misled him, manipulated him for your own gain.
Sad story here- https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/aAolZI3iz2 - My father was baby trapped with my sister by a women who was upset cause she had a miscarriage it happens a lot
https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/376vAqsZHM - “ Total disagree. My narcissistic colleague (F30) was thinking about baby trapping her boyfriend. When I told it’s disgusting, she said it was a joke. 10 months passed and she’s pregnant now. Men or women, if they’re crazy, they do whatever they feel like.”
https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/wplf93mpyp - “Women do trap men this way. Your whole diatribe is misanthropic at best, and skewed negatively. The fact your perspective is that they're losers might indicate past experience. I understand that, but denying the fact that some men do get 'trapped', even if the word isn't sufficient to describe the entire process, is simply daft. So yes, it is a nightmare of your own making. Leaping to the extremes, "a father who teaches them the worst values" as an example, is still you judging males on your own personal values, which surprisingly, differ from person to person. I'm sad you think that it's 'hilarious'. I'm guessing, but no one in that situation thinks it's hilarious, from either side. And I think, given the data, you're an exception in thinking financial equity in raising a child is related to values. Ibet I could guess who you vote for too lol“
https://www.reddit.com/r/TwoXChromosomes/s/RlzqJAJlxf- “This shit actually happens. My girlfriend had secretly gotten her iud and purposely got pregnant without telling me. How am I at fault in that situation??“- he’s right… I guess most of the responses would be to “use a condom” again but maybe he did use one… in which case she’s the unequivocal one in the wrong.
It’s funny how they’ll say “use a condom” (which I do agree with- using a condom to avoid pregnancy is your safest bet) but then in the same breath, I saw one of them mention how birth control pills aren’t 100% effective… newsflash… neither are condoms… consent to sex isn’t consent to parenthood for either party.

Then there’s this woman in r/offmychest who openly admits to baby trapping her husband- https://www.reddit.com/r/offmychest/s/qguy8AywJe - thankfully they’re calling her out on it for being a POS, but I guess the feminists in TwoX would defend her and twist it into her being a legend and him being the one in the wrong.

Also, does anybody notice just how chauvinistic they are in that sub towards men who are maybe from a poorer financial background? They speak about them as if they’re worthless human beings. And it brings up an interesting point- many men who were babytrapped maybe can’t afford to pay child support… and they ended up becoming a father against their will.
They genuinely hate men… I used to be in that sub and it wasn’t too bad- just a bunch of women talking about female issues… it’s since been hijacked by rabid misandrists… and it’s horrible- a lot of those are clearly the FDS crowd who categorise men as “high value males” and “low value males” (high value in their eyes being -the guys who are macho muscly gym guys, rich, must be the provider, must pay for dates, must be over 6ft; the dates they go on must be fancy dinner dates even for the first ones etc, and low value men in their eyes being- the ones who are from poorer backgrounds, who are maybe disabled and need extra assistance, those who believe in 50-50 relationships, those who don’t have a bodybuilder figure or go to the gym, those who are of a smaller stature; those who go on more low key low pressure first dates like coffee or ice cream etc)… but really with that sub, every trait a man holds that they don’t like gets him branded as a “low value male”
[–]DemoniteBL 5 points6 points7 points (0 children) | Copy Link
TwoX is a sub that just makes me feel like shit whenever I scroll through it. Pretty much none of the things women there complain about apply to me or any guys I know, but they still like to act as if all men are as bad as they say. It doesn't even matter what the topic is, it's always fueled by hatred and if you disagree you're automatically part of the "problem".

I like how they demonstrate a lack of basic understanding of how time works. Man in the future says something they deem as misogynistic > women in the past would know that and not date him.

It never ceases to amaze me how eager a lot of these people are to embrace conservative pro-life arguments whenever it’s convenient to them.

I wonder how they would feel if we banned abortion everywhere, pretty mad huh? Unless you were raped, you made the decision to allow a penis into your vagina. Men should be allowed to give up their children
[+]AlaThePristine -18 points-17 points-16 points (6 children) | Copy Link
I have to partially agree with her. There are men who abandon their children. I even saw so-called "financial abortion" idea.
However, there is one situation where I would let men avoid child support payments. When a man was sexually assaulted by a woman and she got pregnant. It's the only situation when I would be supportive of this idea.
[–]eldred2 14 points15 points16 points (1 child) | Copy Link
So you're just fine with a woman fishing a used condom out of the trash to impregnate herself... You think that should obligate the man to support her for 20 years?
[–]OtherwiseLack4657 13 points14 points15 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Of course she does. Lots of women think that is ok
[–]christina_murray_[S] 10 points11 points12 points (3 children) | Copy Link
I agree with you that there’s no shame in celibacy/abstinence, but a lot of people do have sex for pleasure, and therefore for a lot of people, consent to sex isn’t consent to parenthood. Yes, there’s always a risk that it can happen (condoms aren’t always effective, nor is the pill), but that’s why you use protection, to try and prevent it, but even in cases where both parties used protection, pregnancies can happen.
And there’s an issue where women lie to their man about being on birth control… the man might be using a condom and protecting himself, but the woman has lied to him that she’s protecting herself too… and so that massively increases the chance of pregnancy.
[+]AlaThePristine -14 points-13 points-12 points (2 children) | Copy Link
Yes, but we should think of babies too, not only of adults wanting to have sex. A child would be deprived of a father's support. The introduction of "financial abortion" would make many women destitute, especially in countries without robust safety net. I'm a socialist and a welfarist, but I'm aware that some countries, such as the United States, don't offer many benefits to the poor. And what about women in very poor countries, like many African ones?
Also, we should encourage people to maintain their sexual purity (especially discourage them from casual sex) by, for example:
I'm not in favour of the ban on contraception, as it would be disastrous, given the current state of the society.
However, what do we need is a spiritual awakening of the society, not the deterioration of moral fabric.
[–]LobYonder 6 points7 points8 points (1 child) | Copy Link
There's a simple solution for that. Anyone (like you) who thinks forced fatherhood is OK should be forced to pay child maintenance to the single mothers in your country for 18 years. Do you agree?
Obviously there is no justification for the victims of forced paternity to be further punished in these cases.
[–]AlaThePristine -1 points0 points1 point (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes. I already pay my taxes and they could be spent on this kind of child support. However, not all of us live in welfarist/socialist countries. I would be beset by grief if even one child died from hunger, as a result of financial abortion and a lack of support for needy mothers with their kids.
