Finally went out solo tonight for the first time to a mild club venue. After a couple months I became decent at day game and getting dates. I wanted to be able to close and pull on a faster timeline, so i thought I’d try night game.

I’m a pretty chill laid back guy. Don’t really care for night life or drinking in general. Despite this, I hit up a club with some seating to observe for a bit and recalibrate after an unsuccessful approach. I walked in thinking I’d get laid easily. I Tapped out after being 0/5.

Girls were never alone so I got to practice group approach. First minute or two is pretty generic open. I’d say I thought she was cute, who are your friends, try to introduce myself. Never got rejected on the open. Tried to build rapport, all my mind could think of was small talk. Where you from, what do you do for work/study, come here often type questions. A few times I had a good time dancing in a group. Didn’t know how to escalate from there. When I tried to pull it was clear I had not built enough attraction.

Is there a way to be fluent in (hype) talk in a venue like that? My generic convos weren’t creating any sparks, especially when we could barely hear each other.

Wingman(s) appear to be currency. Girls kept asking where my friends were. I said I lost them. I don’t have any friends into game. Don’t want to have to rely on other dudes either.

A lot of younger crowds. Hyped up in groups. Maybe given my personality a lounge or calmer bar would yield more positive results?

Anyone have a framework for these type of situations? I don’t mind the rejections. I just want to rep out sets with better strategy.
