Hey fellas I have posted here before and had a lot of great feedback. My ex wife left me at the very beginning of this year. She moved out the next day after telling me we were done. I have lived in “our” house since she’s been gone. Well I finally have a place to go and am putting the house up for sale. Her and I have been very amicable and respectful since the day she left. We were together 13 years married for 10.

When we decided we were both good to go on getting the house up for sale we have spent the last 2 days cleaning up the house and fixing small little details. I know most here would never do that kind of a thing with there ex wife but we are still getting along (although we are 99 percent no contact).

Well after today I just had the absolute hardest time I’ve had since she left. Keep in mind I have lost 32 pounds by hitting the gym hard and been on a few bullshit dates nothing serious. I for the most part have been doing very well mentally. But with the house up for sale and me officially out today I am absolutely destroyed inside by all the memories and accomplishment I had from owning my first home.

We both were emotional today and we embraced a few times because we were both feeling just so sad to see our little home being sold. I have some of the worst emotions and emptiness I have felt since she left me. I’m not necessarily looking for any guidance or advice but more just using this as a journal entry open to comments.
