No. That's some disgusting medieval logic that has no place in men's rights discussion. I am no feminist. I don't believe every woman . I don't trust their sob stories either. But that doesn't mean I will become taliban.

I dunno, seems kinda weird to me.

I do think there are cases where voting needs to line up better with having some skin in the game.

For example, my dad sometimes complains about how the school district he lives in has one of the highest $/student in the state because it's a college town so every time the school district has a referendum for more $, they campaign heavily at the college campuses and they usually pass. Very few of those college students have kids that will be going to school there and few will still be around living there to pay the higher property taxes they got passed.

When I was in college, I'd vote for federal officials, but I just left the local and state ones blank since it just didn't seem like I had much skin in the game. Probably was some apathy about it too.

It's kind of irrelevant at this point.

The entire agreement, that we men have made with the government, was broken by the government. We were given the right to vote, in exchange we had to sign up for the possible draft. They're giving illegal citizens the ability to vote now. Women have never had to sign up for the draft to be able to vote. Further, they keep openly finding evidence that the voting has been rigged in multiple elections.

So, it's kind of a moot point, to limit anything. It doesn't mean much these days.

This would be an absolute recession. Firstly, why is the man the one voting? Can the couple decide who votes as long as it is only one person making the call? What about gay couples? When two men are living together, they both vote? Lesbian households can't? Secondly, by making only one person vote, you are removing individual freedom for everyone else in the household.
Politics affects us all so, everyone should have a say in who will be making big decisions in their life, as long as they are eligible to vote.

Women typically vote Democrat and this is the only way Crooked Republicans have a chance of winning. They also want to raise the voting age because young people today tend to vote Democrat

What period are we talking about exactly? "pre suffrage voting standards" weren't exactly uniform. Depending on the state and/or year: male/female landowners could vote or only male landowners or only male tax-payers, also, many states flip-flopped on letting free black men vote.

Seems like the kind of thing "well read, intelligent" people would have mentioned.

Even in early America, women who owned property could sometimes vote. The major tax was the property tax so taxation = representation meant landowners were typically the ones who voted.

Today, we have all sorts of taxes, that women and men pay, so it makes no sense to tie voting rights to a household or to one’s sex.

What about single people? Still get one vote each? Or do women simply lose their ability to vote? And, if so, would you be willing to give up your right to vote to allow only women to vote?

No intelligent person would ever bring this up as a viable or reasonable point.

No. The idea that you had to be a taxpayer to vote made some sense, but today that wouldn’t work because almost everyone pays one tax or another. There are probably around 20% of the population who “pay” some tax but actually receive more in benefits than what they pay in tax. They’re the voters that have the perverse incentive to support policies regardless of cost.
