People outside of their house, in the real world know this is just bait.

Moreover, when they interview the females and post videos of it online, they are already grinning/laughing before the questions is done being asked. It’s staged and fabricated for rage bait.

A large majority of the people that answer with the animal have never stepped foot in the woods or outside of a city for that matter.

This was only created to create division and rage. In addition, let’s be thankful that anyone that chooses a bear never really makes any real decision outside of their house or computer screen. This is why these kind of mulch do not run our world.

It comes from the idea that we shouldn't take bigotry personally. It's one thing to be wary of men - absolutely do that. I do that. Men are people, and sometimes people don't have your best interests at heart. It's another thing entirely to dehumanize us beyond the level of an actual predator.

I'm not mad at the man versus bear debate because I'm taking it personally. I'm mad at it because it tells me that when a woman I don't know sees me or any other dude, her first thought is "this is worse than seeing an apex predator". There are animal guys out there, but most guys are just dudes and comparing every man to the absolute worst thing society has to offer cannot be done without dehumanizing a group based on underlying factors.

I feel what the person says in the pic is appropriate.

Like, if they chose a bear over a deranged criminal, I'd sympathise with that but they say, men, as if the average man.
It just shows that they are implying every man because that's how mean works.

I only ever choose a tiger over a woman (and the like) to show the other person's (those who choose bear over the average man because they think the average man is so evil that he's out to get them) hypocrisy.
