Him screaming IM TEAM FEMALE at the top of lungs doesn’t accomplish what I think he thinks it accomplishes. “Hey how about this virtue signal kids :D” is sad to see

I don't know what's sadder: the tweet itself, or the fact that people still take Hank Green seriously.

Hank disappoints me. Guess he doesn't care about his or 49% of the populations Rights.

Hank Green is just trying to cling to relevance since most of his audience aged into Hasanabi and he never really got a new crop.

I used to really enjoy scishow but they out out some blatantly woke nonscience videos a few years back and ever since I can't take them seriously.

I'm starting to think men like him (aka the vast majority of men) deserve everything that gets posted on this subreddit.

He's probably not wrong in a sense, I can imagine a lot of TikTok's men's advocacy is basically just misogynistic MGTOW stuff, considering it is the absolute lowest common denominator of any Internet conversation anywhere. Applies the other direction too - some male rape disinformation set to a quirky TikTok dance got hundreds of thousands of likes a year or so ago. (I haven't seen anyone on the "other side" be that overt)

Apparently this guy is somewhat famous, but I’ve never heard of him. Was he actually popular or is this just a random guy with a little clout?

Now? Supporting mens rights has always been misogynistic according to the ruling culture.

Why doesn't anyone but us see the glass cellar

Supporting men's rights isn't misogyny. It's retaliation against misandry and over-the-top feminism.

As far as I know, when someone says men's rights, it's either actual people fighting for equality, or it's incel propaganda. My guess is he's complaining about the second one, but I could be wrong.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
