Feminism has lobbied for and won many laws that discriminate in favor of women and against men. That’s mainstream feminism. The author is simply refusing to acknowledge this reality.

OMG, where to start.

Her post was chock full of “half truths” like most feminist “facts”. Stuff like the pretend “wage gap”. Or the assertion that most “computer programmers” were once women and that pay only went up when it became male majority! No sense that when women were “the majority” these “programmers” were really data entry clarks, not “programmers”, “coders” or “software engineers” as we understand them.

The logic is comparing what an SME or consultant writing a report today gets paid with what a typist would have been paid to type up a handwritten report in the 1960’s and claim they’re doing the same job (writing reports) and how badly paid it was when it was “a woman’s job”!

And as for how pay goes down when women enter the field - well you increase the supply of workers, so there’s more competition for jobs and the pay goes down. And even though she claims she doesn’t want men to have their pay cut, she DOES want them to be denied jobs so they can go to women. That is denying men pay.

This is simple propaganda. Feminist articles about male privilege and other misconceptions, all the way to promotion of violence against men, are falling out of favor as people are catching on to how vile the feminist religion is. So now they're backtracking and saying to the world "whoa, wait a minute, we don't hate men, we just want to be equal bla bla bla".

Bullshit. All feminists, including male feminists, hate men. They want us to suffer. Make them suffer by disengaging and leaving it up to them to clean up their own messes.

I guess the fact that feminists have long discovered that resources for female victims of DV is what decreased the number of men killed by their partner, yet use the thus created discrepancy to justify keeping the difference in level of services, instead of drawing the appropriate conclusion that the best way to save women's lives is to also provide services for male victims of dv, that is both "not anti male and pro women".

Right and those who dare say that feminists are lying and hurting everyone, both the men that don't receive services, and the women that would most likely be saved too the same way men's lives were saved, they are the ones who are anti women.

The argument that feminism is “anti-men” is a tactic to discredit the movement.

Feminists themselves. Many in their words, most in their actions. When the French feminist ministry to "equality" whose own numbers show at least a third of victims of DV being male, made measures for detecting "only female" victims of DV, she didn't have to proclaimnloud and clear she hated men. She just displayed it.

The problem is that anti-feminists don’t even want to try to understand the views of feminists.

That seems to be the usual response when people try to point out the rampant misandry within the feminist movement. In theory, they're correct. If you define feminism as wanting women to have the exact same legal rights and opportunities that men do, then I think most people are on board with that. I've met plenty of perfectly sane feminists who believe in actual equality. They do exist.

The problem is not all feminists are like that. There's no shortage of radical, vindictive, misandrist, completely unhinged lunatics within the feminist movement. It's pretty easy to spot the crazy if you're willing to look. The sane feminists who just want equality unfortunately share their movement with the blue hair buzz cut borderline personality disorder crowd, and unfortunately, those lunatics seem to have the stronger voice these days, at least online.

Feminism, sadly, isn't about equality anymore. It's about "equity" and "evening the score," to get revenge against the men they believe are oppressing them, regardless of the reality. It's hostile, vindictive, and absolutely toxic. I believe in equality, but I would never call myself a feminist. I don't want to be associated with them.

No one is against equalist or equity feminism, except in the communism vs capitalism debate.

Camile Paglia and Christina Hoff Somers are examples of well respected feminists in MRA circles.

Author does hate men, they show it in their complaints of anti-feminism, which has been a reaction to radical feminism since before the 80s, not often to feminism as a whole.

They seem to believe that everyone who claims to be feminist is simply fighting for equality...
They seem quite content to ignore the many vocal self proclaimed feminists who use feminism as a shield against retaliation for their bigotry and misandry..

People like Clementine Ford in Australia..
But of course when you point them out you get slapped with "They aren't TRUE feminists" well if that's the case then I proclaim the anti-feminists you are talking about aren't TRUE anti-feminists as anti-feminism is about equality..

Sure.. lets begin our history lesson with the White Feather Brigade / The Order of the White Feather where women would go around town and present a white feather to any man who was of fighting age who had not enlisted in an effort to shame them into doing so..

Or how about when FEMINISTS got together and drafted / pushed for the uptake of the Duluth Model of Domestic Violence, a model which, rather than being based on silly things like facts, evidence and observations.. was based on feelings and assumptions..

A model which assumes that in EVERY case of domestic violence involving a man and a woman, the man is ALWAYS the aggressor and the woman is ALWAYS the victim..
This model has been in use for decades and is still primarily enforces how domestic violence situations are treated today..

Moving to more recent history how about we look at the time a group of feminists went to the United Nations and petitioned them to reclassify Female Circumcision as "Female Genital Mutilation" and push for it to be outlawed?
Now.. there isn't anything inherently wrong with this... but.. If feminism is "About equality" and "Only wants the same rights / protections men have" then why is it that they couldn't also push for Male Circumcision to also be reclassified as Male Genital Mutilation and to be outlawed?

The answer is: Because feminism is NOT about equality.. it is solely about focusing on the rights / protections for women..

THIS is the reason why anti-feminism exists.. because we get told lie after lie after LIE by feminists and we are fed up when their words do not match with their actions..

Another classic example, just look at the #MeToo movement and how when one of the leaders of the movement was #MeTooed instead of holding her accountable and instantly cancelling her like so many men accused.. they instead said that they should wait for evidence before jumping to conclusions..
Why were men held to the standard of "If a man is accused he is instantly guilty, no evidence needed" but if a woman was accused.. well "Due process" and "Innocent until proven guilty" etc...

The double standards is why we can not take feminism seriously...
