As a woman I agree with you. If a woman doesn’t want to be a mom then she can give up the baby and it’s “doing what’s best for her and for the baby.” But if a man tries to walk away it’s called being a “deadbeat.” Ya a man can use condoms. And woman can use birth control. I’d say the same for vasectomies and tying the tubes but unfortunately in my state they won’t let us if we don’t have kids.

The only thing that reminds me of the behavior of feminists is a complex of dangerous and harmful mental illnesses for society that are incompatible with reason and common sense. Their infantilism, narcissism ignoring reality and habit of lying are also symptoms of mental disorders. Let mental health professionals make more specific diagnoses.

I have read online at least, that women blame men for getting pregnant. I think that is BS because both people have to take part in sex for someone to get pregnant. They blame the men for getting them pregnant because he ejaculated inside her. If she didn't want that to happen then she should tell him that, and make sure they use a condom. There are also female condoms apparently but I have never heard of a woman using them. It's always the guy that needs to wear one and not the woman using a female condom. If two people have sex then there is always a chance of getting pregnant so to me it isn't fair that only the guy gets blamed.

To me it's not either one or the other... Both understand and it's both of their responsibilities. If one party has the option to terminate their association with the child then so should the other. Claiming a woman has the right to abdicate their responsibility but a man does not is the epitome of hubris and entitlement.

Hey, I didn't see this before. Just wanted to clarify some things.

I don't engage with bad faith actors (or ignoramuses who haven't done basic research on the subject).

The dude was literally belittling and mocking me for having the gall to suggest that feminists might not have the most intellectually rigorous arguments in support of their misandrist views. He's a concern troll and that's why I blocked him. I'm not wasting my time on people who want to come and lecture and virtue signal and not actually hear out my arguments. Maybe you feel it's kind of chickening out of a debate, but it saves me a lot of time not engaging with obvious trolls and ideologues who aren't interested in hearing reason. If this clown provided even one good reason explaining why he found my claims implausible, I would have continued the conversation. But don't waste my time with meaningless platitudes and pedantic requests for academic papers that prove that feminists are hypocrites (sarcasm). The dude was being smug and pretentious, and was not at all explaining where any of his assumptions were coming from. And he also impugned my motivations to boot, fuck him, I've got no time for clowns like that. Debate is all well and good, but it does also require some measure of good faith and a willingness to hear out the other side, which wasn't happening here. This dude had a predetermined conclusion about my claims and my intentions, and wasn't actually interested in trying to find out where they came from.

You're being way too charitable. This isn't an academic journal. We don't provide footnotes and in-line citations. We don't need to waste our time engaging with people that bring up such asinine concerns as "Where is the proof that feminists say [this thing that we've literally all heard feminists say on a regular basis, online and in real life, 1000 times over]?" This is classic concern trolling and you fell for it.
