71% of children killed by a family member are killed by their mother.

Radio silence.

At least 28% of heterosexual rapes are female on male, meaning 72% are male on female.

Can we please just stop judging the severity of a crime based on the color of someone's skin or the contents of their pants already? This is getting tiring. This is just 13/50 with a new coat of paint.

Casually making universal statements, against which easy counterexamples exist (Jodi Arias is sufficiently recent, and high-profile, that people should remember her) is a great way to announce to the world that one is a cretin. Even if the person who posted this is very young and missed the Jodi Arias media coverage, it would only have taken a minute of Googling to learn that women sometimes murder their (current or ex) husbands or boyfriends. Hell, Karen Reed's trial for allegedly murdering her boyfriend with an SUV just finished a few weeks ago, although I agree with her defence attorneys and believe that she was probably framed.

If I were still making hiring decisions, I would regard such online conduct as proof that one lacks the necessary logic skills for the job.
