A reminder about statistics: This is a biased sample, as these are cases where there was reason to suspect the men weren't the father. It does not indicate anything about the general population.

The point is, if you find yourself questioning if the baby is yours, to the point of having the test done, the odds are 50 / 50

People need to read the data/studies they present. I keep seeing bad data or false conclusions drawn based on data from feminists, anti-feminists, left-wing, right-wing, etc.

Stop cherry-picking data. Read and understand the data presented.

And 70% of people tried for murder are found guilty. Does this mean 70% of all people are murderers? Of course not, the percentage of all people that are murderers is 0.01% (0.02% if you want to count suicides.

To back up the MOD, this is a classic example of skewing data by not widening the demographics.

Demographics are important, but the widest demographics possible are more importanter. (Yes I know it’s not a word). The numbers were taken specifically from dna labs. That means these labs ONLY deal with dna, and THAT means that people sending in dna to be tested already suspect infidelity.

To give an example of the same use of demographics and how it can skew data. If you went to an oncology hospital, you could test everyone and then declare that everyone in hospital has cancer. Get it? If you went to many different types of hospitals, the number gets smaller and smaller. And the same with paternity.

This is actually men trying to trick other men to incite them, by skewing data.

I work with single dads and false abuse claims, and in three years, there has been ONE false paternity.

I’m not saying this to defend women. I know this does happen. I’m saying this to protect men from shady men. So please don’t attack the MOD for this.
