Could you have set the date sooner? Usually I try to keep a sense of urgency and set the date for 2-3 days, 4 at the most away, and not Fridays or Saturdays. But if the date is set then no reason to text although some may disagree. Just send a super assumptive confirmation text the morning of. Might even do the night before since it’s 4 days away

You could msg her but make it sound that you’re not clingy/obsessed, something like: “I got my schedule open on Friday for our date. Keep me posted!”
