I've been dating this girl for the last 2 and a half years.

We get on great. We have a lot in common and lots of shared interests. We see each other at least once, sometimes twice a week.

Last year she brought up the possibility of us living together. We had only been dating just over a year, so I squashed that idea and said that if we were still together a year from now, then yes I would probably be happy to move in together.

Fast forward to the present. I brought up the thought of us moving in together, since she is good ltr material and I could see myself having a future with her. Potential marriage in a year or two.

She pretty much shot me down and said that she enjoys the space she has and doesn't see us moving in together. She enjoys her alone time.

I brought up the possibility of me moving closer, so we could see a bit more of each other and she shot that down as well. She doesn't want me moving close to her. As this area is hers, where she and her friends are. She thinks I would be 'intruding' on that.

I found this a very odd attitude for someone that I've been dating for the last couple of years....

She just wants things to continue as normal, with us still dating and me seeing her a couple of times a week.

Looking to the future, I thought we could progress there together. Unfortunately this now doesn't seem to be the case.

She basically sees me as someone that she gets on really well with and has great sex with, but only wants to see me a couple of times a week. More like a fuck buddy if you ask me than a boyfriend.

I am nearly 33 and she is nearly 34. I am now at the right stage in my life where I am in a well paid job and have a good social and active lifestyle and wouldn't mind starting a family.

I guess TRP advice would be to pump and dump and move on to a younger more attractive woman with which to marry etc, or just turn her into a plate and start dating other women. Easier said than done though...Any advice ?
