Never blanket statement. They don't work. Not all women are cold hearted sucubi that will leave you the minute a "better" alpha unleashes his dick. That's just kind of silly, in my opinion. Clearly those women are placing value in things that are shallow, rather than realizing the awful nature of her actions. That's like saying once a woman hits 30 she better get the divorce papers out because it's inevitable her husband will be leaving for a new 18 year old because AMALT.

Love is real, and does exist. And as long as it's maintained, things will workout fine. But it has to be between two compatible people. Without those grounds, bitterness will eventually take over.

LTRs require constant improvement on ones self. You need to make sure you don't stagnate and become boring. thats when partners leave. As long as you maintain your individuality and value, you're going to be fine. Men hate when women go dead bedroom on them (obviously) and chicks hate when their men get fat and lazy. Both parties need to put in effort so this doesn't happen. It's a two way street, but when both people are cognizant of these things, you can have a great connection and history built with someone that you'll never get from plates.

It's just all about what you're looking for. LTRs with women exist, and can be wonderful if both parties recognize that it takes two to build it.

I'm married. We have two great kids. My wife has 14% bodyfat. This morning she licked my balls as I was getting into the shower and later she texted me from work they tasted good.

And look, my wife isn't going to leave just because some guy has more money or looks better. There is love; not the unconditional Disney love, but love. I'm the father of her children, we have a shared history. That doesn't get me everything, and in my pre-RP days she was a bitch and she dead bedroomed me, but now that I've alphaed up, she's not going to up and leave just for some minor benefit on one or two traits. Maybe some Hollywood star could woo her, but that is never going to happen.

If you're alpha and you're doing good and you're in the part of your life where you settle down and have kids, the odds are massive that she's going to stay. It's the betas' wives who fuck around and walk out.

Honestly I think a lot of people discover TRP when they're in too deep into oneitis/an LTR. That's what happened to me. I felt trapped because I knew it was a sunk cost, but the oneitis just clouded my judgment entirely. I couldn't bring myself to leave her out of principle, but that eventually turned into paranoia and constantly thinking I was messing up left and right. If oneitis takes over you're just fucked man. You just don't react as quick or effectively to shit tests, etc.

At the same time, LTRs can be really special for a while, but the sad reality is they will always come to a bitter end unless you have incredible patience. Still don't think it's worth it. Only reason I stayed in my relationship as long as I did was because I was dreading having to deal with the relationship fallout (same general circle of people), and having to see her around until we both graduated/I had time to get over the breakup.

AWALT. Just walking down the street in a big city as a high SMV man will show you the true nature of the SMP if you aren't blind. Women and clutching their betas like purses left n right while shooting IOIs your way. It's just sad really.

You are definitely still in the anger phase, but let's think through the alternatives. There are only 3 options; celibacy, spinning plates, or an LTR. Unless you are an asexual person, celibacy is not an option worth considering. In the choice between spinning plates and an LTR, you will be interacting with "black mamabas" either way, the only difference is whether you interact with one or many. Which do you think involves more risk? [Side note, women are not unicorns but they are not black mambas either, that is your anger phase showing.] Additionally, as u/Sepean explained, in a good RP LTR, the woman is not going to be likely to cheat or branch swing. Hypergamy dictates that the possibility always exists, but in a good RP relationship it is not likely.

This is human nature, the only difference between men and women is that men can control our nature. But why would we? In an LTR with kids you remain together for pragmatic reasons, not romanticized ones. It's almost inevitable that both of you will go fuck someone else at a few points during that time and it's the guys who don't that are butt-hurt.

The key is a relationship that's good for both of you, which YOU can drop at any second - it sounds impossible but it really isn't even difficult: the secret is the value you give isn't equivalent to the value she gets & vice versa. You buy groceries, she cooks the food: the end result is free food for her and better / cheaper food than going out for you.

It should be the same for virtually all daily "support" tasks. She doesn't care about what you buy her, the things that have high "tangible" costs to you - she cares about shit that costs you nothing: give her tingles, make decisions that allow her to feel safe and under good leadership in life, fuck her brains out on the regular and don't be a little bitch.

LTRs don't involve you giving what's important to you which undoubtedly makes them a bad proposition, they involve you giving what's important to her & in exchange getting what's important to you - an artful arrangement where both people always get more than they give because they value vastly different things.

Don't give more than she can ever hope to reciprocate & you can walk away "in the green" whenever you want.
