Using terms like "women and children" is a quick filter to spot and dispose the filth from my group, honestly. It's one of the several terminologies used to dehumanize men. It implies that men don't have "human" status, so their dignity and lives don't matter.

i have no info about the israel conflict, but women dying (because who cares about men?) in war being the main point for why someone is evil isn't something new to me.

You don't understand, we're highlighting the fact that half of the dead are women and children to prove that Israel is committing genocide. In normal wars, men are killed far more disproportionately than any other group, because only men can be soldiers. When we kill indiscriminately, it shows that we are deliberately targeting civilians, which is proof that we are trying to destroy the population (genocide) and not to achieve a military objective.
