For context, I'm married. But I'm not in love with my wife anymore. We're roommates who hook up every once in a while-maybe every 3 or 4 months. And it's not that either of us have cheated. Nothing like that.

We're in the daily grind. Each do our own thing and coordinate where kids and dinner plans intersect. She stays at home with the kids and makes sure they get their school done (which is a chore-dont get me wrong.). And I work from home full time with very occasional travel (think a few days biannually).

There's nothing "wrong" with us...other than there's just no passion anymore. My therapist asked what makes me happy. Obviously, my kids, I said. But beyond that-I got nothing. Not work. Not my marriage. No friends to speak of. I know part of this is my own depression. But maybe it's more than that?

It got me thinking-my wife should make me happy and she doesn't. She's in constant state of stress. I've been begging her to go to therapy and she won't. She's on multiple meds for long term issues and she'll randomly go off her meds cold turkey. It's just always something....

I don't know if I want to try to salvage this. Again. There's no infidelity. We don't fight really. But we're not in love either. I'm really not happy. And I'm staying around to help protect my kids at this point. So, what do I do? Do you think i have any chance of changing this?
