For virtually every injustice that people argue Black men are disproportionately affected by, the disparity between men and women is multitudes larger than the disparity between Black men and White men.

Examples:

[1] Police killings. Black men are 3.23 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than White men. Men are over 20 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than women.

[2] Sentencing. Black men receive sentences 19.1% longer than White men on average. Men receive sentences 63% longer than women.

[3] As you discuss, the death penalty. It is a sentence which is handed out to Black men more often than White men, but almost 99% of those executed in the USA since 1976 have been men. Women who are executed are generally guilty of only the most obscenely horrible crimes, such as torturing a child to death or multiple murders.

It always amuses me how the woke crowd is more than eager to discuss injustices against Black people, but when you demonstrate disparities between how men are treated and how women are treated--which are generally far greater than those between Black people and white people--they refuse to acknowledge it.

In GB, the crime of 'infanticide' exists specifically to offer leniency to mothers who kill children under one year of age. The sentence is never imprisonment, even a suspended sentence would be extremely unusual. The usual outcome is a hospital sentence, probation, or a supervision order.

Women are the usual perpetrators in shaken baby syndrome cases

According to who? Research indicates that men are more likely to cause shaken baby syndrome. What this man is going through is terrible, especially if he didn't kill his child. I am generally against the death penalty. But please, remember that this is a Mens Rights group and not a Women Bashing group. If anyone is going to accuse any gender of something, it should have research to back up the facts.

Since men SEEM to be to most likely to shake babies, we should advocate for more men's education into early child care. Many men are not properly taught how to handle babies and young children. Men deserve the right to be equal childcare givers and a primary parent.
