Stop worrying about get anything "right" and just start doing. Not making the girl uncomfortable and being new to cold approach is sort of a paradox because in all likelihood your first time you will be nervous, you might stutter, you might blank out, but that's okay. As long as you don't harass the girl or be rude then you are doing fine.

Your goal should just be to say something to someone and that's it. When that's easy you gradually take more risks. For example if you are having trouble approaching do something as simple as asking for directions then leaving. The next step could be giving a compliment then leaving. Then the next step could be giving a compliment but sticking in there and actually having a conversation and so forth.

In terms of actual "lines", just say something you noticed about them as a compliment

Wondering what the "right" approach is and what your scheme is? If you have never done this before, I hope you have a structure/script to follow, otherwise your approach is a lottery, hoping that all will be well. You can forget about routine/script/gambits after you have a certain experience but not in the beginning.
