some of my friends who get girls obsessed with them have told me that ignoring them is what does it.

That only works if they're already into you - basically, if they like you but feel like you're pulling away it might make them anxious which in turn makes them think about you more, etc..

Honestly, purposefully ignoring their messages or them in general just to "make them like you more" is childish and should only be done if you messed up by chasing too hard after them.

I think that depends on whether they’re reaching out or responding to your text. Reaching out first and then just not opening/leaving their response on read seems kinda weird

The ChatGPT and your report that women usually ghost after texting, this tells me you are not creative or interesting. Leaving females on read/unopened adds some mystery and distance; this only postpones the inevitable denouement of not being interesting. Seems like you need to find something to be authentically interested in and try to develop a connection around that. While “sex” is a common interest across all people, females typically want some other thing to talk about.

Think of this rather as a trait not to be available and agreeable all the time. If you have other important matters, don’t check your phone. If you don’t know what to write for now, you can take your time. If you don’t like how conversation is going, you can cut it for some time. Keep your involvement congruent with current mood and dynamics. Leave the best for real life meeting and physical escalation. Don’t play as her texting girlfriend.

I would like to point out that if she's not that interested she'll do this regardless, talking to her more won't change that.

If she is interested however, leaving her some time and room to wonder and fantasize about you can be very effective. Please note that this doesn't really create interest, it can only serve to amplify interest that's already there.

By overcommunicating you can ruin interest that's already there, taking out the excitement of her fantasies about you by answering all her questions, leaving little to be wondered about.

i understand where you're coming from, because i relate. it's frustrating to be a great guy, with great intentions, and be ghosted by women. and then you see other men succeed with women - whether naturally or through learned game - and you feel a little jealous (we're only human). you might even resent women for not giving you the time of day or for liking you for who you are. so i think like many people interested in pickup or seduction, we sometimes ask ourselves: do my values need to change, even if just a bit, to succeed at getting what i want, when don't know how to get it otherwise? maybe even women deserve being treated a little less nicely for ghosting me (maybe you haven't felt this way but i have).

i won't make an ethical argument or anything like that, though i personally agree that leaving someone on read isn't that nice and i wouldn't want to be treated that way.

i'll ask you this instead: do you want to be with the type of woman who responds positively to rude behavior? is this even technically considered "a positive response"? is using negative reinforcement something that will lead you to appreciate her more? is all you want in a woman for her to be "a" woman?

lots of guys treat women poorly and get laid, because yes, it works. it works on certain women, and it's often quite effective on the women it is effective on. so you see these guys treat women poorly and then rationalize it in ways such as "i'm being non-needy", or "i'm differentiating myself from what most men do", or "i'll get her to chase after me", "it's alpha". these women often don't have the proper self esteem to filter for men who treat them considerately.

game is about more than picking up women in my opinion, it's about making a happier life for yourself. isn't that why we want women in our lives, to be happier? attracting women who like you because you treated them poorly isn't the best way to accomplish that in my opinion. at best it's an ego boost - which is okay if you need it, and might allow you to gain experience, but it's just the wrong approach in my opinion.

there's no need to get sucked into the narcissism of others. just because some men get results a certain way then boast about it doesn't mean it's the right approach. do what your values align with, there's no need to change them. there's sooooo much information and advice out there 10 times over that doesn't involve doing things you dont agree with :)

If you’re gonna do it, do it at the end of a conversation or as another guy noted. Do it when she’s into you and you feel like you have some wiggle room. Otherwise she’s just gonna flock to other options
