I was just about to post this! Not sure if true, but if it is, a rare case of maternity fraud.

Damn, with paternity fraud its often "how can you abandon the child, they didn't do anything" "I feel bad for the child (coincidentally forgetting the main victim is the father)" but with women all they get is support.

Same way they say blood doesn't matter but as soon as hospital switching babies became a thing online (as in people were hearing about it and getting paranoid) they started taking markers with them into delivery but a man is a jerk if he wants a paternity test. As with everything, don't do what women say to do because when they are put in your shoes they do the exact same thing they tell you not to do.

These aita subs are extremely biased. I saw a post recently where a guy wanted a paternity test because the kid didn't look like him or the mom. One of the top comments with thousands of upvotes was that this dude was probably projecting and that the mom should invade his privacy to find out if he's the one cheating.

Most of the posts are AI written, and most of the members are literally some of the last people you'd want to take advice from.

Comments on BORU have correctly pointed out a scathing hypocrisy that most of society has with men. Male labor in providing for his family is not valued, but historically it has been argued that female labor wasn't valued in the household.

These gender-flip stories have amazingly done well to unwrap the biases that western society in general has allowed itself to be seeded with.

Edit: I also remember the adage that silence is compliance. There are numerous women in the AITAH post coming out of the woodwork and sharing their sympathies with the OP, agreeing with her sentiment. These users were rarely present to comment the same when infidelity from women resulted in the posts at those subs. It goes to show there's a perverse relationship brewing between misandrists and feminism that the feminist movement is unwilling to tackle head-on.

If the feminist movement is not willing to cede space to male rights' advocacy in the social sphere for healthy discussion, and are wholly silent when their conventions or meetups are harassed out of campus by protesting feminists, then the feminist movement as a whole should now be considered complicit in active enforcement of laws impeding men's rights.
