Dude, get smart. You have to read every fucking line and sentence of anything you sign with an ex.

Men, you cannot rely on a notary to interpret documents. They don’t give a fuck about what’s in them. A notary has only one job: signature verification and recording. That. Is. It. The notary confirms you signed document Y on date Z. You cannot rely on them for anything else. If you don’t understand this, then don’t sign a goddamn thing until you have your attorney’s approval.

Men need to get MUCH better at reading the shit that is put before them. How many fucking times are we going to see, “I didn’t read it.” Again and again, this is men FAILING to take care of business.

And when you are in court, you need to be HYPER vigilant. Courts rightfully assume you read the shit you sign. If you sign off on a stipulation, courts rightfully assume you agreed to the terms of your signed and notarized agreement.

Don‘t know how this will turn out. Court absolutely could rule you agreed: you signed and notarized this stipulation and you are done. Lost your condo? Too bad, so sad. But a stipulation is legally binding, and the courts enforce executed contracts.

You’ve now created a fucking mountain of work for yourself. Now you have to file notices, motions, prepare affidavits and evidentiary submissions, schedule hearings, attend the hearings, and hope and pray your judge will grant you extraordinary relief. It very well may not happen.

This is so mind numbingly frustrating, maybe you need a five or six-figure loss to imprint a fucking lesson to never do this again.

You need to talk to a local attorney. Under NO circumstances should you sign anything without having your attorney review it. Yes, this costs time and money. The system is fundamentally broken. Accept this and move along.

Odds are high you can contest and fight it, but that will 100% require an attorney and judge going forward.
