Usually when I go out to bars and stuff, I encounter what I like to call "bait car women". In case you don't know, a bait car is a sting operation where cops will leave a car parked in high-crime area, unlocked with the keys in the ignition, hoping to lure a thief with the prospect of an easy steal. The cops will then wait for the thief near the car, follow him, remotely shut off the engine, and arrest him.

Some women believe that going to a bar to try and pick up women is somehow unethical or a crime, so they set up sting operations to catch men who do this, with the goal of exposing them and making them look dumb. They have been taught by their parents and other women that "men only want one thing", and to avoid all men who they do not know, because they might be creeps. Personally I do not only want one thing, I look for cuddling and chatting before and after sex, even during a hookup, and i'm sure most other men are like this too. And even for the men who only want sex, there's nothing wrong with that, and let's be honest, some women also only want one thing lol.

Anyway, these women believe that trying to get laid is a crime, so here's how the bait car operation goes: They dress up in revealing outfits to aggressively show off the goods, flirt with dudes and give them the eyes, come up to them and start dancing with them, etc. Guys will think "this girl is easy" and come chat when she smiles at him from across the bar, or dance with her when she approaches instead of just ignoring her. Usually 1-2 minutes later she switches up and gives him an aggressive rejection, usually loudly calling him some slur or flipping him off, and pushing him away.

People will then see the rejection, but not what happened before it, so the guy will appear as the bad guy. People gossip and say things like "omg did you see that drunk creep trying to get girls??!". Usually this blows his chances with other women there who were interested before. Sometimes a "white knight" guy will step in and confront the guy for the "crime" of trying to get laid, with "She's not interested bro, you need to move on. Get out of here now, or i'll beat your ass!". Again, these white knights didn't see her acting interested before switching up, so they believe the girl and assume the guy was actually harassing her. White knights are also trying to get girls themselves by putting down other guys, thinking they will be attracted to dominance and aggression.

By doing this trick over and over again, these women hope to deter hookup culture and police the men trying to pull women. Just like cops send the message, "Attention thieves, bait cars are everywhere!", they are sending the message "Attention pick up artists, bait women are everywhere!". Honestly they should just get a job with the Taliban military, if they want to be authoritarian prudes like this.

I've noticed some measures you can take against these bait car women to screen them out:

  • Look for modestly dressed women. Women who wear booty shorts and a crop top are usually bait car women. The girls who are actually DTF are usually wearing baggy pants and a trenchcoat, or something else that is fancy and modest. It is the opposite of what you think. They may even wear bright flashy colors to get your attention, while still being fairly covered up.
  • Avoiding extremely young women. Most bait car women are 18-20. They still have the idea of "stranger danger" and "men only want one thing" in their head from their parents. And fair enough, there are actual pedophiles out there, and teenagers need to listen to their parents and protect themselves. However, some women take this too far and continue this mindset too long into adulthood. 24+ women are usually mature enough to realize that there is nothing wrong with trying to pick up women, and there is no need to attack men who do this.
  • Approaching women through social circles and in public during the daytime, to use the element of surprise. Bars and nightclubs, and even dating apps, act as a crutch for men. They are designated "flirting zones" in society, that set the tone/context of seduction and connection for you. Men often go to these places because they don't have the conversation skills to set the context themselves. Let's be honest, no man ever goes to a bar only to hang out with his friends, with no intention of meeting women. Bait Car Women know this, so this makes bars a perfect environment for them to target men. Conversely, when you approach women in a park, cafe, or at a house party with friends of friends, the element of surprise is in your favor. No woman goes for a walk in a park and thinks "I wonder how many guys are going to hit on me here, so that I can shame them and put them down". Instead you hear stories like "I met this really cute guy in the park and we spontaneously ended up hooking up!" or "I spontaneously met this cute guy on train in Europe and we travelled together for a week!". While it was spontaneous and unplanned for the woman, the guy had likely been planning something like this for weeks, learning seduction, going out with friends and practicing, maybe even learning a second language in order to pick up girls while travelling. He has used the element of surprise to his advantage, which is not possible in a bar, because both men and women go to bars with a plan/agenda.

Anyway, can anyone else relate to the experience of Bait Car Women, or have any more tips of how to screen them out?
