I've always believed society should work for the needs of the people and people should be treated fairly.

People will stereotype anything. They don't want to learn about who you are, because they want an easy way to smear you without having to actually debate you. They also don't want the risk of shattering any biases they might hold dear. It would hurt their egos too much. This is also why people purposefully see malice in things others say, without even trying to understand what they are reading or hearing; egos.

"white" I mean, family comes from Southern Italy so probably some mixed blood at some point? I'll mark it as white though, since most of my ancestry is European and I don't feel like getting a DNA test to get exact numbers and dealing the sticky business of how much non-white DNA it takes before I'm no longer white, the answer seemingly strongly correlated to how much animus any given person has with whites and strongly inversely correlated to how much animus they have towards whites (i.e. a skinhead would no longer consider me white well before the point where a BLM activist would consider me no longer white).
