I feel like the Influencers who tell men to chase more money, more girls, more gold watches, lambos, etc. are just for-profit shills who take advantage of men's insecurities to sell fictionalized nonsense about how to be a "real man". Those people are not allies for men's equality.

I feel like the traditionalist folks telling men to sacrifice themselves for women's safety suffer from the same misandry as feminists who tell men to sacrifice themselves for women's happiness.Those people are not allies for men's equality.

But there's a kind of influencer that I like: the subset of Christian influencers who talk about the dignity of all people including men, talking about how employers should give space for families because children need fathers, talking about how both parties need to sacrifice in a marriage and how unethical it is to just divorce because you feel like you can score a better partner or because you can make bank off the divorce. I feel like those people are, in their own way, advocating for equality for men.
