Am I right in assuming that most advice on texting in the pick-up community is likely to contract texting advice you've heard previously. You wouldn't realise it because you'll never be able to sit down and compare all texting tips you've read over the years. By comparison, what one person with experience says about how to flirt with women when in person, isn't likely to contradict another person's advice.

My view is always to save any tactics you may have for when you're in person with her, and with texting just be honest and keep the texts short while giving quick responses. Don't try to match how long it's taken her to respond with an equally long delay. Don't engage in any games, and remember you can call her too. The moment she knows you're a caller too, then she'll know that any ridiculous amount of messaging may result in you ringing her. If she knows you're good at flirting from meeting you before, then why even bother being jokey in texts... that's all the more reason for her to work to meet you again.

Forget about any 3 day rule type stuff. If you compare the 3 day rule stuff with how you interact with your male friends it proves it as ridiculous... if your buddy texted you back quickly, you're not going to be thinking "oh my God how needy". And if a guy was so cool that he doesn't think about the girl during those 3 days then he'd probably have forget about her forever!

That's basically it in my view. Otherwise you'll be over thinking it. Perhaps there could be one or two other basic principles to keep in mind for texting that I'm not aware of, but it's hard to watch people give black or white advice on the matter.
