I love how there are 14 links to domestic violence services below the article. 13 of them are for women and one is for convincing male victims they are the abuser and reporting to their abuser that they sought help.

The best part of this is that having lied and committed abuse, the Magistrate declares that she was not aware of how bad her abuse was. She was a lawmaker. She was one of the people who considered and passed laws that tightened rules on DV. In fairness she was out of Parliament when they voted in this “coercive control” stuff. But what does it say when they claim the actual people who pass laws have “no idea” that their conduct is contrary to the law?
