I don't understand why men's right to wear dresses has never been discussed in the context of the historical lack of men's rights, while women's right to wear pants has been discussed in the context of the historical lack of women's rights.

Like all men, they should have rights, rights that stripped from men.

As personal opinion, I find it sad, even pathetic. It's weird someting like this getting so much praise. Man should be manly. But this is not their fault, it's the broken society.

Personally I dont really care as long as its genuine and/or isnt hurting anyone. If it comes from a place of mental health symptoms those should be addressed first before changing their identity. Same thing on tomboys, although I wish they had a little more acceptance and weren't pushed into the trans category.

If by that you mean men who wear nail polish or wear girls clothes etc then I think it’s straight nasty. If you’re talking about men who are into usually feminine things like Taylor swift or something then I don’t particularly see the problem.

A person who is the child of one male and one female parent is likely to have some combination of male and female traits. Typically, one side is likely to stronger than the other, but not overwhelmingly so, and typically, the stronger side will the sex that the person is. But there are people who are atypical in each of those regards. For some of those people, radical steps (e.g., sex changes) may be the solution to the dissonance, but the vast majority of them are just normal people with an unusual distribution of interests and personality traits, and should be regarded as such; we used to call more masculine girls "tomboys", and they were generally tolerated (more or less)- the male equivalent (tamgirls?)... were just called "sissies" and thought less of, which is unfortunate.

I certainly HOPE that most of what I'm hearing about sex changes being pushed on these people (in particular, on children) without recourse to milder steps are just conservative hysteria, but these days, who knows?

I say that people are people, and if they're not hurting anyone, let 'em be.
