Or, hear me out, the United CEO was a single targeted assassination where no one else got hurt, while the Manhattan shooting was a wild indiscriminate spray that killed multiple people and put the entire area into panic and fear. Dont pretend these are identical events.

She was not the intended target. It’s not the same.

A CEO responsible for the highest denial rates in the industry and tens of thousands of people dying because of it isn’t the same as the CEO of a real estate fund that makes housing more expensive for people and making the wealthy wealthier.

1) She wasn’t an intended target from what I can tell, so the shooter would already get less celebration than Mangione

2) Multiple innocent people were shot as well. If Mangione had killed some random dude on the street as well, he would’ve been getting a lot less celebration, too

I think you need to spend some time outside of gender based internet spaces if you’re seeing gender war bs in every piece of news

The CEO of UHC got his promotion into that position from making a plan that exempted children with cancer from being covered under certain conditions. The kids’ deaths saved UHC so much money he was pushed to the top
