I am in the UK, going through it.....coming to the last hurdle. I never knew my soon to be ex to be so money grabbing and manipulative. It is a weird contrast from her being just plain arrogant. Anyway 19 years of marriage ( happiest 2 years of my life HAHA), 2 kids, 19 and 16 year old. Why is it the man winds up paying more - I am forced to sell a house ( a nice house in greater london) I paid for, losing a chunk of pension. with money on top and I agreed to pay child support. All this money she is getting and still she quibbles over a sodding bicycle (worth nothing but would be useful to me) and plates and glasses.....I don't get it. Advice please on how to "woooosahhhhh" the issues and get this divorce over the line without going bonkers
