I have no idea who that lady is so I googled her. First she's younger than me but still looks like a middle aged real housewife. Second, she dated Kanye West so I'm pretty sure she just makes bad decisions all around. This is definitely a her problem.

I'm so tired of beauty being considered a "patriarchal standard" as if evolution didn't program people to like certain things after millions of years of climbing in trees as primordial primates. Is it that same patriarchal standard when women have strict height requirements?

No. It's not. I don't care what a woman's type is. I only care what my woman thinks, my lover, my spouse. I only care if it's someone who comes in, tries to pollute the culture with their nonsense, while having no sense of self-accountability. It's great if a woman has a standard for height, as long as she can meet her future man's standard. It's great if a guy has a bra size minimum, if he's not a creepy fetishist. I'm not one to judge. What I don't accept is this idea that every female standard should be affirmed and justified but men aren't allowed to like certain things about the female form.

Blaming her mental health on men instead of withdrawing from the porn she is watching is odd, I have my own type of interests in people, I don't see how if I posted about my partner that would instantly make everyone jealous and idolize us. I don't think that logic would be good to apply it to an inter-racial couple nor many other circumstances.

Women call men chopped and gross all the time, while saying that women are much hotter and basically acting like narcissistic pseudolesbians. Women's standards are much harsher and stricter, and they don't shy away from showing their utter contempt for, for example, short (or even average) men, and bald men

But anyway, don't they all want to dress up, wear makeup and get plastic surgery for themselves and to impress other women? Why is she blaming the men? And I'm not implying that she actually did it for the men. She most likely didn't, but of course it's way easier to blame men and their magical patriarchy.

She's not entirely wrong, as most feminists tend not to be. It's just they're taking it all in on one go and they end up trashing men for it.

Yes, there's societal beauty standards for women that are pushed on them that can make them think one thing may look good or another wouldn't.

But that's a societal issue in general, not against men at all. Her saying it was to "attract men" also doesn't make sense since women happily proclaim they "don't dress / act for men".

As with everything, this is a more complex issue than it first seems
