He is talking about being passive aggression. Nice guys hide the fact that they are upset, but seek indirect ways to express themselves. Stoicism is about temperance, reacting appropriately to situations, not having a total lack of emotions.

Think of "hiding emotion" as the "fake it until you make it" version of being stoic. Holding frame is just standing up for what you want and not getting rattled by her shit tests and emotional manipulations.

That makes sense. As an extension to this, I'm in the middle of a breakup (serious oneitis) if I was to tell her how I feel and even cry, wouldn't I been seen as less of a man? I'm nowhere near being an alpha, but do alphas cry over a woman?

What he is saying is 100% correct but you have to consider the context.

Hide Emotions = Hide the resentment the Nice Guy has for not getting laid, hides how he hates the chick wont fuck him, hides his jelousy that chad is fucking her.

Manipulative = Uses Slut Shaming tactis and shaming tactis in general to try and control their crush. Will do nice things for a girl in return for a chance to have some sex.

So it sounds like No More Mr. Nice Guy is a great qualifier for TRP behavior. His advice keeps you from verging on passive aggressiveness and emotional retaliation, and following both TRP and NMMNG helps give perspective to the value of both men and women in your life.

I'd like to go back to my original question. In No more Mr nice guy he's says to express your emotions to your partner. You all seem to be saying the opposite. I know il find the right route. It's just fucking confusing at the beginning!

Mark Mason's handles this distinction the best in his book Models when he talks about Vulnerability vs Neediness. Nice guys are needy because they have to lie and put up a false front to avoid pain and seek validation. A strong man doesn't need to have this guard up because he doesn't give a fuck.

An image I always think of is one time at a high school party a girl and guy were having an argument and she pulls out a knife all of a sudden. Instead of backing away the guy walks up to it exposes his neck and puts it right up against the blade and says "Go ahead" and she backs down. That's a little extreme but it's a physical version of emotional vulnerability looks like. He was vulnerable but still stoic in the moment.
