Stereotype: the man is always the abuser.

This shows up everywhere. Domestic violence shelters, legislation, media reporting. It's always the man who is framed. The woman could have berated him or attacked him mulitple times over days, weeks, months and years, but if he lays one finger on her he is the abuser.

When a man cheats it's his fault (rightly so) but when a woman cheats he must have driven her to it.

If a woman beats a guy he gets humiliation and blame. If a guy beats a woman he gets humiliation and blame.

Everyone is expected to bend over backwards for women in the workplace. A man never gets any leeway.

The mainstream media, social media, and Hollywood keep hammering the same message to viewers in their content: “men are bad, women are good.” “Men are abusers, women are victims.” “Women and children first, men are disposable/should fend for themselves.” Over and over, we keep getting exposed to the same man-hating, gynocentric propaganda.

This messaging has adverse consequences. It’s part of why there’s so much internalized misandry and so much pro-female, anti-male bias everywhere, from education to the courts.

Where I have worked for decades, they have been systematically been getting rid of all the men from top positions and replacing them with women.

Women can post on apps such as tea and are we dating the same guy and it's called women's safety.

Men do the same thing and it's slander and misogyny.

There is so much of it it's hard to list everything, but mainly the fact that I can be forced into the millitary where I live and in most countries in the world is one of the worst, also the fact that I have basically no protection from violence and I have to be scared to report any violence that I have been a victim of due to all the laws around misogyny, the fact that I had no protection from genital mutilation when I was a kid and even though I wasn't a victim my parents could have decided to have me circumcised at any time when I was a baby, a child or a teen with no legal consequences, I had to face housing discrimination with many listings explicitly only asking for female tenants (I'm talking about fully private spaces that would be only occupied by me, not a flat share type of setup), the fact that I don't have all of the opportunities to work in fields such as childcare and am expected to do more physical and dangerous jobs and tasks, and plenty of other things that I wasn't able to think of right now. And the fact that on top of all of that I have to listen to feminists everywhere denying that these injustices exist or trying to justify it somehow and call me "privilliged" because of my sex is extremely excruciating.

As for the stereotypes and expectations I had because of being male these are just a few I was told I couldn't do because of being male(copied from an another comment I made on a different post):

having the hair lenght that I want
being able to wear what I want
being able to play the instruments that I want
cry
being able to play with all the toys that were "for girls" as a kid
act feminine or just show any subtle sign of anything that isn't deemed masculine
work in fields such as childcare or all the others that are usually only hiring women
consume any type of content that is seen as being for women
Being interested in any hobby, activity or style that is predominantly associated with women
Show any traits that are caring or nurturing
sit down to pee
Just generally like the colour pink or purple
have a less muscular body and NOT wanting to gain any more muscle
