Once again misandrists and feminists fail to grasp even the basic concepts upon which they so confidently opine.

Sexual access is more difficult for men. That isn't incel or blackpill rhetoric, that's the reality of the animal kingdom. "Choosy females" is most often the case due to asymmetrical offspring investment. FFS, the entire reason for the stud/slut double standard is because sex is easy for women to get and difficult for (most) men to get. Take a biology class and maybe learn something.

If a man is short, or fat, or bald, or ugly, or poor, or withdrawn, or a hundred other possible things, he will have a much more difficult time in the sex and dating arena. If he checks multiple of those boxes, he's going to have a very tough time indeed. Which is to say, when men say they "can't get a date," they literally mean exactly that.

Some women can't seem to comprehend that their own experience doesn't actually extrapolate to men (for women, "can't get a date" typically means "can't find a guy who meets my stringent standards").

Nah. I was dating and hooking up with women who "were happily single" and still constantly in some sorta relationship drama resulting from mixed signals after hooking up and/or panicking if they didn't have a date every month. I made the choice to be "single" because I had the same problems they had, that I was too emotionally dependent on external motivation and validation from others. I don't generally believe the meme about women "being happy single" because, at least in my experience, we aren't talking about the same thing and these women are still highly dependent on external motivation and validation from others.

This is not to say women can't be single by choice or happy single or that such a niche of people exist. But I don't think it's really what's behind this particular meme or "movement."

I wouldn't call hitting the wall with no other options, leaving you with no choice but to be single "being single by choice" the reason you are, is literally because of circumstances you could, though didnt change, leaving you no choice but to remain single, thats no choice.

They call it “single by choice” the same way someone living in a tent says they’re “embracing minimalism.” It’s a cope to avoid admitting they priced themselves out of the market they helped destroy.

Personally as an asexual (cue amusement and mocking by whoever can't deal with people being different) I look on this sort of thing with bemusement.

For one the automatic assumption that everyone is allosexual, secondly assuming that they're hetero. When I actually feel anything it's homo. Which is practically never. And anyone who claims it isn't true I would be prepared to undergo a test (and watch me not react at all).

Women stay single out of entitlement, lack of self-awareness, ego, prejudice, unrealistic expectations and a lack of investment/effort. That choice is them choosing to be awful to men, while expecting everything from them. That choice is them putting no effort, while expecting men to put in every effort. No man has any problem understanding this. They see it, hear it and live it. Men understand that women live in a state of privilege, and that those women have no interest in actually doing anything about it because they still benefit from it.
