You’re at a severe disadvantage. My tinder and Hinge profiles work pretty good in America and western Europe, but in Japan, the likes I get are sparse. As for the women tourist who come to Japan…many of them are only here for Japanese men. I would just go to the tourist clubs in Tokyo right now (Zero, Atom, Baia, etc.). Yes, severe disadvantage. Japan has open discrimination against black people; would be better off in most other Asian countries (other than China of course which discriminates more than Japan in some provinces).

Some girls will still like you of course but it seems like it would be harder there than just about anywhere else: South Korea, Philippines, Thailand(avoid the areas near the war), etc.

…if you invested time to know Japanese then don’t give up, massively increases the ease of finding girlfriends in any country. You are still allowed to be there & it is a country worth experiencing.

You'll be a tourist. Enjoy the scenery, the history and the culture. As expensive as it is to travel abroad, there's no need to waste vacation time worrying about trying to chase a fling. You can always find a woman back home.

You need to be honest with yourself here. By your own admission, you don't speak Japanese. But you want to "get to know" them. That's going to be extremely tough if they don't speak any English. It sounds like you could just be fetish/kink chasing and if so, you may want to reevaluate your mindset there as it sounds kind of creepy.
