Lately I’ve noticed online the growing rise of women (primarily feminists), who are sick of the double standard placed on them, they believe that men who are less than stellar in terms of looks and finance always seem to end up with gorgeous women while women who are less then stellar don’t have those same privileges (even though I think they do, but I digress).

This faction of feminism has the idea of women having to settle with men who don’t match the exterior aspects of dating, such as looks and money. We’re now currently seeing what happens when men do try to change this and we end up with the looksmaxxing community but again I digress. This faction of feminism beliefs slightly aligns with the red pill/manospere in that they, want to continue upholding notions of hypergamy but in favour of women due to the imbalance of modern society, even though it may sound transactional their idea stems from deep resentment in marrying anyone they deem as beneath them socially, physically and financially.

The problem is they view most women and I mean most as above most men in those factors which perfectly aligns with the 80/20 rule pushed by the incel ideology. So to make things a little simpler a group of online feminists, believe that women who are very good looking and independent (which is most or damn near all), should not settle for a vast majority of men who simply don’t meet that same criteria what so ever.

So they believe that women’s standards in dating should reflect their own self worth, whether it’s financially, physically or emotionally. Some of them use bio essentialism to explain why this is and others simply come to that conclusion based on the current political climate. I’d like to know what your thoughts are on this?
