Disney gave her 4-5 seasons of her own show on Hulu and cast her as the bachelorette, all while knowing that she was on probation for a domestic violence conviction in 2023, but everyone brushed it off and didn't take it seriously until the video leaked this week and it caused a lot of outrage. Especially because she is currently being investigated by the police for another DV case from just the last couple weeks.

I know they definitely would never have cast a man as the Bachelor while he is currently on probation for a DV conviction.

Happy they decided to pull the season, especially since the season had already been filmed and edited. I'm sure that's a financial hit. It was set to air just 3 days from now, on March 22nd.

But the "leaked" video was from 2023, and she was arrested during that incident. News outlets even reported on it at the time.

There is no way the network/producers/executives didn't know about this when they cast her, yet they cast her anyway.

I'm happy that it seems like they're not getting away with it, but it's upsetting that they ever thought they could.

People should read what's happening with this online. Tons of women are gaslighting this as its the man's fault.

I saw stuff like, "this is reactive abuse. he is the true abuser and she was responding to the abuse by abusing him. he's at fault.", "he did this to cash out since she's famous" and etc...

These comments and videos are made by people that are verified. We have reached a point in society women can be almost immune to criminal charges in terms of DV.
