Your analysis is pretty spot on. You're essentially going from "hello" to "can i get your number" without much in between except small talk. This works when the customer really really wants the product already (because she thinks youre super attractive), but if you aren't genetically gifted, this tends not to work so well (ask me how i know).

The missing component, as you've noted, is attraction building. Generally you do this through either:

Laughter/wit
Intrigue (e.g., being interesting)

There is a 3rd component as well, but it's "luck" and so its not easily reproducible. Have you ever talked to a woman and you guys just click automatically with no effort on your part? That's the "luck" component. Not something you can rely on.

That leaves humor and intrigue left. Humor tends to work better and more consistently so work on that first. Learn to banter, tease, joke around, be witty, etc. This (as you can imagine) is a very difficult skill to learn. This individual skill alone took me about 3-4 years to get down and probably 5+ to master so dont expect to be an expert in 3 months.

Even with coaching, it takes most guys at least a year to get down and that's with us drilling the individual skill sets with a live girl every week. THATS how hard this is.

It's also why it works -- because it's unique because very very few guys can do it. So it's worth it in the end. I don't regret even a shred of those 5 years of grinding because the ROI on it is so, so good.

I can feel pretty confident going into pretty much every interaction with any person, knowing that i can turn on the humor to create charisma out of thin air. I can go to lunches with 9 figure net worth individuals and not be intimidated because I know my social skills can carry me. And those skills allowed me to meet the love of my life and soulmate and I wake up every day amazed that someone as amazing as her exists on this planet and that I'm fortunate enough to be her life partner.

what sounds like is missing is flirting (which is what all game is, really. i.e pushpull and teasing and stuff). But I don't believe it will 'build' attraction for you. You're either her type or you aren't, effectively. (i.e flirting with a girl who isn't attracted to you is kind of unwanted. A bit like that 'Human resources' meme where teh good looking dude flirts and she blushes, and the ugly guy says the same thin and she calls the HR department! ahaha)

The word building and quick shouldn’t be used in the same sentence;

The fact that you want to build attraction is something that requires time and precision

The term you are looking for is probably “attention and impression”; which is what you can get relatively quickly; you want you first impressions to be spot on *the way you dress *your scent *your confidence *the way you carry yourself

You carry these onto and through to a meet up where you have time to create genuine attraction….

Think about it would you rather live in a house built in a day without supports or would you like to live in a house with a good foundation and sturdy pillars… think about it

Now if you’re looking for a quick root, then spontaneous attraction may come as a result of doing something fun like getting drunk at a party and getting laid afterwards… be prepared for “buyers remorse”

the issue is that no game technique acually builds attraction. The main ones are things like teasing, pushpull, DHV stories, disqualification, qualificaiton etc. But honestly, if you are someone who she would swipe hard LEFT on tinder, then them things (and other things in the PUA toolbox) arent gonna change her mind

Do you tease? Create funny stories about her? Put her in a teasing box and force her to want to get out of this box? Do you flirt? Do you physically invite her in? Whirl her around? Lift her up? Hug? Lock both hands as you talk? Paint pictures in her head? Make her imagine dating you? Imagine your first date?

Hooking is a lot about having a fun time and teasing her as well as making her feel emotionally great. Spikes are done with banter, flirting and teasing, compliance testing, kino and through you (your voice, your phrases, your eye contact and staring).

My best advice is the middle part is where you stop doing small talk and start talking about something slightly more personal or playful. That’s usually where the connection happens. My best advice is try the app Shawty to actually review your reps and understand insight.
