I will start by saying that for one thing, I think feminism should be brought nowhere near leftist or progressive spaces for obvious reasons. I mean you're trying to tell me a movement that changed the legal definitions of rape so that only men can be charged, fights against domestic violence shelters for men being built, fights against fathers rights, and only talks about the issues of one gender while deliberately ignoring and silencing talk about issues experienced by the other gender is leftist or progressive? Please!

But that also got me thinking: Maybe it's possible I'm inexperienced, but most actual leftist (not liberal) spaces I've seen rarely, if ever, bring up feminist talking points or subscribe to patriarchy theory it seems despite the fact that lots of people say feminism has been ingrained in leftist talk. So that got me wanting to ask: Is feminism something leftists really talk about or is that just something liberals and democrats do while pretending to be left wing?
