The One I Love by Charlie McDowell is a really interesting take. It's not 100% what you're looking for, but a very haunting film about marriage and illogical desire.

1st one is usually pretty rare, but August Osage county has the second category. Some really fucked up women in that film. There are plenty of modern films that show women fucking up in marriage, but the general trend in rom coms recently is to show older women that are unmarried and trying to or divorced women who find love. And career women especially. Remember most tv and film is made for women and is there to sell a fantasy. Make you feel good and escape from reality. Not remind you of it. Independent films and documentaries can be exceptions to those rules.

If you're interested, an Australian TV series called 'the beautiful lie' is basically about some bored housewife falling in lust with some AF foreign guy and completely destroying her family and life whilst chasing after him, lots of sweet schadenfreude and Hamstering.

Nah not really. typically that shit is kind of a secret and they want to keep it that way. The world needs betas and exposing AWALT doesnt help their cause
