I paid my lawyers retainer and I’m filing today. Stbx claims she doesn’t want a divorce but is trying to control every aspect of a proposed trial separation.

She is threatening to go for full custody if I don’t give into her demands(she has 0 chance of getting full custody) and promised to make it as ugly and as messy as she can if I file for divorce. Well here’s her chance to prove it.

Just got to keep steady until she gets served. I am taking every precaution I can, because I know she is going to make stuff up. She already has her story of how I’m unstable, and how she can easily get what she wants.

We are in a no fault state and she has held a job and contributed to the finances so she really doesn’t have a case. She will start making stuff up when she realizes her plan to twist the situation doesn’t hold up.

Just a rant. Not really sure how I’m supposed to feel but I know it’s time to move forward.
