The first statement in this report says it all "Men’s violence remains a persistent and preventable public health crisis in Australia."

The report is heavily weighted with "toxic masculinity" which the researchers have cleverly renamed "the Man Box."

According to the report, masculine traits are violent, controlling, abusive, dominant, etc. And the only way to fix this is to recreate masculinity using feminist ideology.

In fact, the report devotes three chapters to explaining antifeminism is violence against women.

This report was commissioned by the NSW Government as part of its policy to encourage healthy masculinity in men and boys.

These anti-feminist attitudes comprise two parts - attitudes towards violence against women and attitudes that deny gender equality - and are taken from the National Community Attitudes Towards Violence against Women Survey (NCAS).

• ‘Many allegations of sexual assault made by women are false’

• ‘Sometimes a woman can make a man so angry that he hits her when he doesn’t mean to’

• ‘Domestic violence is a private matter that should be handled in the family’

Denial of gender equality

• ‘Many women exaggerate how unequally women are treated in Australia’

• ‘Many women don’t fully appreciate all that men do for them’

• ‘Many women mistakenly interpret innocent remarks or acts as being sexist’

Next level propaganda. Just take any statement, define it as anti-feminism, and produce proof that anti-feminist men are bad!

As I suspected the moment I started reading the report, the survey doesn’t actually measure reported incidents of intimate partner violence. It doesn’t ask men if they committed intimate partner violence. Rather, it asked about specific actions such as slapping or pushing and the “researchers” decided to count any such acts as domestic violence, all without the woman in question even claiming they are victims of IPV. (Page 16).

This is a trick feminists often use to over inflate violence against women or violence caused by men. To use a counter example, imagine if I surveyed men and asked them if they have ever been pushed, shoved, slapped or in any way struck by a woman. I could show almost all men are victims of battery (perpetrated by women) but most don’t report it.

Similarly any couple that consensually participate in any kind of BDSM, kink, etc., would likely be counted as intimate partner violence by this “study”

It’s sad to see such agenda driven propaganda accepted as actual objective research. The next step of course is that this disinformation will be used to justify actions that are discriminatory towards boys and men.

This is the feminist playbook: use disinformation to create a false picture of women in crisis and then use that to win legislation or practices that advantage women and are harmful to men. This is how WEEA, affirmative action for women, women owned business advantages, title IX mandates that deny college men due process were all won to give some examples.
