I am 35 male and my wife 40 we are going through a very rough period the last years. I left my country to go be with her, I don't speak the language we just communicate in English.

So couple days ago things escalated to the extreme

And I said this is not a healthy relationship and we should get divorced ( something she suggested a year ago as well)

The next day we had some conversation but she snapped and turned it into a huge argument

She hit me very hard bunch of times in the side of my head and throat, I did nothing just stood and took it, I would never hit her and I was also in disbelief of what is happening, she tried to choke me and telling me she could kill me.

The next day I was in shock, she said she will make sure to make my life hell as revenge.

The thing is she can, I don't speak the language of her country, I don't have money at the moment to go, my car needs repairs to even do the 16 hour drive to my home.

She knows all this and she is on advantage to make me miserable.

I haven't talked to any one yet, I don't want my mother to worry about me, I can't do this to her.

I would lie if I said I am not scared, but keep calm.

I need to cancel my bank account here, go to police to remove my temporary residency and bunch of stuff I have no stomach to do right now.

We used to be full of love and I can't believe this all went to hell. She turned into a monster I don't recognise. She looks at me as she is disgusted.

We used to share internet and she cut me from it so I can't even acces I ternwt at my home,

We used to share money now she cut me form that too.

We have two cats I love and I don't know.. that's all I just don't know what to do
