The only difference between indirect game and direct game. One is potentially being rejected on the front end (direct) the other is being potentially rejected on the backend (indirect)

Direct or indirect has been asked pretty often recently. It’s like asking “should I use a spoon or a fork?” Well it doesn’t matter. As long as it works. Even in some cultures you just use your hand.

Yes, it’s called setting the boundaries. It’s kinda different than “being direct or indirect”. When women set boundaries, they are on defensive mode. When you think of whether direct or indirect, you see it as a way to “attack” or being in offensive mode. Not in terms of feelings-wise (I feel “offended” etc), but in terms of frame and conversation-wise.

Even if she wants to be casual, doesn’t always mean she wants you to have casual sex with her. She sets her terms in general. Found it too often in dating apps where women state casual but the guys just directly “attack” by opening convo with “let’s go to my place tonight”, “wanna fuck?, “I’ll send you my dic pic.” Even if you’re being direct you still need to ease your way in. Harshly speaking: don’t just put it in if it’s still dry lol.

These are stages that typically happens in an approach:

Not knowing what to say
Know what to say but end up with boring convo
Interesting convo and she reciprocates
sexual innuendos, banters, flirts, and touches
Makeout
Having sex

You need to be aware in what stage you’re on. You can’t jump to 5 for example, if you’re still in 2 or 3. This is why escalations are needed (see “escalation” in this sub). You gotta dance or work away around your conversation.

If you’re still in stage 2, you gotta bring up convos that interest her. Typically with women they love talking about their emotions (friends, family, relationships, her favorite foods, shopping places, etc). But don’t just stay in those topics for too long. You gotta transition it to “you and me” convos pretty soon so you could be in 4. Say you both talk about her favorite drink or her favorite coffee shop, you could casually reply with something like “nice, now I know where to take you on our first date then”. You narrow the convo into “you and me”, no longer talk about other people or things in general.

Quite simple actually. Remember, you can be anything BUT boring so always make accusation, qualify her, and physically escalate as the date moves on.

The approach is not going to change you from a nice guy.

All indirect means is "breaking the ice" in an indirect way. If you look at any of the models of seduction where these terms come from, indirect does NOT mean be boring and never escalate.

All it means, is get her to show IOIs and qualify herself before stating your own intent.

Thats it, its not the whole interaction is indirect, its just the first 3 - 5 minutes are indirect. That does not make you a nice guy. There is more to being a nice guy than the initial approach.
