If you can afford it go for it I say. Ive never trained with anyone. And I remember the ,"fitness trainers", at LA Fitness were hardly what I would call swole. But if it doesn't work out, you've tried.

i did a PT for 6 months. Very much worth my time cause I learned far more than i ever did on reddit or online

Do it man, because even after the trainer is long gone, you would essentially become your own personal trainer for life after the experience you gain.

Yeah, it'll cost you but you'll save a lot of time learning from one of the best. Proper technique, and everything else.

Oh yeah, but don't do it for too long. Have them teach you stuff and then cut them off once you are seeing serious gains.

I have a trainer that teaches me programs and we do boxing together, he really makes me bust my ass.

First, you shouldn’t get a personal trainer, if you’re gonna spend the money, get a serious coach. Training with someone can be great, and really motivate and teach you. Before you shell out some cash though I’d look and try to befriend a gym rat and train with him. Most guys would love to have a regular dude to lift with, and are happy to share what they know.

You’ll never stick to it if you rely on passion. Make it a habit and reach your goals.

If you’ve been using the same routine for 6 months then switch something up. Find a routine online that is different than the one you are using right now.

Do it! If you can afford it of course.

Worth outcome: you worked out a few times and learned new tricks.

Best outcome: you rediscover your passion and probably methods that work better for you.

A friend of mine has never really been into workouts because they frustrated him. So I offered him to train with me. Since then he's learned a lot and has discovered that with the right approach and discipline he can become achieve things he never thought possible.

Depends, if youre in school the trainers at your gym will help you out with technique on key lifts.

If youre not and trying to learn at a commercial gym, then it wouldnt hurt to take a few lessons to perfect your form on a few lifts.

Honestly tho everything you need to know is on Youtube. Look at jeff nippard, greg doucette, omar isuf, jeremy ethier...etc

I’m generally against personal training because I favor the independent mentality and getting swole isn’t that hard, there’s tons of info on the internet. I mean it takes hard work but it’s relatively straightforward.

However, sometimes for experienced lifters you need some extra element to break plateaus. Now most personal trainers are normtard ph@ggots that offer no value to a true swole shitlord (another reason I’m generally opposed). However in your case, since you have access to a bodybuilding prodigy at a low cost, I say go for it. If it will help you get serious about church (the iron church) again.
