Examine always your motivations and emotional causes for everything you do. Pursue only equality, and do not allow yourself to overpush. If you perceive that you are at a disadvantage, push only to the line of balance, and no further. Make it clear as you push what your stopping point is. Don't try to make up for deficiency in one area by upsetting the balance in your favor in another.

In this way, many feminists (not the radical ones) will be on your side. The intelligent ones (yes, they exist; I married one) realize that societal gender inequalities hurt everyone, and they want to remove those inequalities for the good of both men and women.

Remember also that people are selfish and fallible as a whole. We'll use whatever we can to make sure we get our way. This is true of, but not remotely limited to, feminists. Find two sides arguing over something, and you will likely find that they are both using the same methods and are steeped in hypocrisy. That's just how we operate. Keep in mind that as you condemn (even when you do so rightly) feminists for doing something, there are probably MRAs who are doing the exact same thing.

Above all remember that women are people too, no less important or valuable than men, and that gender doesn't make us nearly as different from one another as society teaches us. We have much more in common with women than we have that sets us apart, and we have more to gain by working together for our mutual benefit than we do by conquering and suppressing.

The way I look at it is this: I'm committed to and fully support legitimate efforts to create a society where people can expect equally of access and opportunity irrespective of biology. Insomuch as feminism is in line with that, I have no quibbles with it. Old school feminists who genuinely seek equality I can respect, even if we disagree on areas of importance and approach.

The problem with modern feminism is modern feminists, who seem vastly more interested in nitpicking over bullshit, committed to zero-strikes-you're-out and a policy of "women have problems, men are problems" that colors most everything they do or touch. People who buy into that stuff are toxic and I have no use for them. If your idea of creating an equal world is pulling other people down instead of building yourself up, I invite you to kindly play hide-and-go-fuck-yourself.

First and foremost never conflate the words 'woman' and 'feminist'.

You don't have to hate women to hate feminism. But it helps to hate women in order to be a feminist.

Just remember there is no MRA equivalent of Valerie Solanas or the S.C.U.M manifesto. There are many feminists who will talk about killing all men, but I have never heard a single MRA talk about killing women.

I honestly fear this of myself when I am reading sites/blogs on the MRM. My biggest fear is to become a men rights extremist. What I do when I find myself hating on feminism too much is to search for reasons why feminism is completely justified. Look in regions like Suadi Arabia and India and you will see that feminism is much needed. I wouldn't want my daughter to grow up in a place like that where she would be in a socially hostile environment.

It helps give a reality check on what the real goals of the MRM are. They are not to end feminism by any means but rather to keep feminism accountable for equality and to raise awareness about mens issues.

I don't think you can mean "biased" there. Being biased towards the truth and against bigotry is a good thing. You should at any rate consider feminists as essentially mentally deficient. There's something missing in their heads that they lack common human compassion for men. It's like a disease.

I have a lot of experience with the mentally ill. I'm used to it and I ignore their rantings. (I'm being serious.) The sheer hatred people can generate still bothers me, but I ignore it.
Not all women are like that.
My FOS (Full Of Sh!t) detector works pretty well.
