As the title says, essentially. It's just not me. Me chasing a woman would be completely out of character, and it's not enjoyable after some point. I don't like to be the one to initiate ALL the conversations, do ALL the work, and have her hide her interest/feelings in return. It seems that a large tenet of FDS is to let the man pursue and just observe and vet, although many posters shout this out with more feeling than the handbook.

This isn't an issue with effort, I don't mind going to extra mile to organize dates, pay attention to her, etc. I'm alright within relationships (well not perfect obviously but no major effort/love issues).

I doubt the issue is confidence, as asking a woman out isn't trouble, it's just that if I have to bombard her with interest and she sends mixed signals I will lose interest instead of pursue.

I don't even know if this is an issue, but it seems to go against FDS ideology, so is this a LV trait, and does it even have anything to do with being LV/HV at all?

Thanks to whoever answers in advance.
